U.S. Rep. Jim Himes and Republican challenger Dan Debicella agreed on a number of foreign policy issues at a debate Monday night, but criticized each other on how they intend to solve problems facing the nation in the international sphere. Debicella, a former state senator from Shelton seeking to unseat Himes, a Democrat, said the incumbent was part of a Washington establishment that had failed in both the domestic and international realms.
