BYE AT GOOD TIME: Derby coach George French at first wasn't thrilled when the schedule makers handed the Red Raiders a rare Week 4 bye. French was used to his team having the week before Thanksgiving off, which allowed the Red Raiders time to rest heading into their rivalry game with Shelton.
