Former Fairfield Ludlowe boys' swim coach Alan Marcel, 28, of Norwalk, applied for accelerated rehabilitation Tuesday for allegedly sending inappropriate text messages to a 13-year-old Shelton girl on a Bridgeport swim team, the Connecticut Post reports. The incident did not involve any Fairfield students and Marcel's employment with the school was terminated following the arrest.
