A Shelton man pleaded guilty Thursday to preparing false tax returns for his clients that resulted in a tax loss of more than $240,000. Bellarmin Namegabe, 46, pleaded guilty in Bridgeport federal court to one count of aiding and assisting the filing of a false tax return, a charge that carries a maximum term of imprisonment of three years.
