State Police are asking the public for helping in solving a shooting that occurred in Shelton on Route 8 early Christmas Eve morning that left one person injured. At around 1:15 a.m. State Police at Troop I received a 911 call from a vehicle that was traveling north on Route 8 in the Shelton area, according to State Police.
