To help the community understand the Ebola virus outbreak, Griffin Hospital will host a free community forum on Thursday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. in the hospital's Meditation and Learning Center, 130 Division Street, Derby. Hosted by Griffin Hospital's Chief Medical Officer Dr. Frederick Browne and the hospital's Infectious Diseases Chief Dr. Howard L. Quentzel, this free program will explain the disease, including how it can be transmitted and its symptoms, as well as how Griffin Hospital is prepared to care for individuals who may contract the virus.
