A Shelton woman was recently arrested for allegedly stealing more than $1,300 from an 88-year-old Hamden man she was hired to be a caregiver for, according to a police press release. Shante Pettway, 27, of 62 Oak Avenue in Shelton, was arrested on a warrant and charged with six counts of second-degree identity theft and one count of fourth-degree larceny.
