Shelton native, Daniel Tatun, was recognized for his achievements at his November 6th graduation from NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, NC, the country's only technical training school to combine a complete automotive technology curriculum and a NASCAR-approved technology curriculum into a single program, and NASCAR Tech is also the executive education partner of NASCAR. Tatun graduated from NASCAR Tech's Automotive Technology Program with NASCAR/Pit Crew.
