The Connecticut Department of Banking issued a cease-and-desist order against a former MetLife investment advisor, barring him from working in that capacity for five years. A. Paul Young , a Stamford resident who worked for MetLife affiliate Barnum Financial in Shelton, did not dispute the findings of the Department of Banking , which in November disclosed details of an investigation into whether Young diverted more than $200,000 of client funds into a TD Bank account he controlled.
