Naugatuck Cops: Shelton Man Accused of Using a Knife to Cause a Injury

Naugatuck police say Dean Battaglino, 21, of Lakeview Avenue in Shelton is accused of swinging a knife and causing injury to the victim's face. Police say Battaglino last week turned himself into police on an active warrant for an alleged assault reported on Jan. 7. According to police, the accused was swinging a knife toward the victim, which left a scratch on the left side of the victim's face.
