The Beacon Falls fifth-grade travel basketball team won the Boys and Girls Club of Ansonia's Holiday Basketball Tournament Dec. 27. Beacon Falls finished the tournament 3-0 with wins over East Haven and Devon in the opening rounds and beat Shelton in overtime, 30-28, in the championship game. Beacon Falls was led by Brady Anderson , Nate Bodnar and Jason Palmieri .
