A Shelton man who police said had just been warned to stay away from his ex-fiancee, was arrested and charged with second-degree stalking Monday night when police said he was found in the street outside her house. Filipe M. Monteiro, 34, of White Oak Road, Shelton, was released after posting a $1,000 bond and was scheduled to appear the next day at state Superior Court in Bridgeport.
