Donald James Bierwirth, 71, of West Haven, beloved husband of Judy Ann Butz Bierwirth, died peacefully at Yale New Haven Hospital on Jan. 19, 2015. Mr. Bierwirth was raised in Shelton where he played varsity football and later moved to Seymour and graduated from Seymour High Seymour.
